Still less than 1500 miles on the Silver Surfer!

Where have I been? Well, nowhere that’s where. I am only writing to let the Twaatfog nation know that I am still alive. Same story really. Sick kid, rain, more illness, more rain, built an ark, fine ants, plumbing, drywall guys, work, and repeat. In my 20+ years in Texas I do not remember a Fall like this. We have been in a repeating rain cycle since late September! I have recorded over 9 inches of rain in the last 3 weeks. My teeth are floating. I know in Texas there is an unwritten rule to never complain about rain, however I would not mention this rule to Clayton Williams lest you want to be shot, but I am sick of this. The new ride rots in the garage, along with everything else at 100% humidity, as I watch the riding season slip away. The weather guy said sunshine today. Maybe later, it is raining this morning. Today I pushed the issue and rode in during a light misty rain, hoping to ride home in the sun. Time for Mother Nature to make a choice! Consequently, I left my rain gear at home.
